I decided to save some money and get the materials I need from home over break. We have an abundance of decadent silverware and dishware that my family wouldn’t mind me using.<\/p>\n

I have one friend who has agreed to take part in the performance, and I only need one more person, preferably a male. I was looking through a bunch of stock images recently and I thought it would be funny to make this performance look like a stereotypical date. Like so: \"Romantic-Dinner-Ideas\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I’ll let the actors improvise, but one of the directions I plan to give them will be to ham it up a bit. Heimbold cafe is the last place I’d go for a romantic date.<\/p>\n

It would also be funny if they acted a little snobby and “high-class” given the setting. I have yet to figure out how I want them to act when they are approached by other people. Should they not pay attention? should they stay in their roles and treat them like waiters? Should they just pretend those people are strangers and tell them to “shoo”?<\/p>\n

Wineglasses filled with red wine will send a very strong message so I’m gonna try to get my hands on those (and maybe just fill them with grape juice, I wouldn’t want anyone to get in trouble).<\/p>\n

After thanksgiving break I’ll report back and let you know what materials I’ve managed to get a hold of.<\/p>\n
