This is an image of one of my sweaters bunched up into a ball, with the hues inverted. When I made this I wanted to make something that looked like it flowed into itself, yet wasn’t super obvious about what it was. Hence, it’s not easy to tell what exactly the object here is, as it looks more like a pattern than an identifiable item. The sweater in question was a convenient choice because it has splotches of color on it, which as a scan are aesthetically pleasing. The soft light and light colors made for soft shadows, which when inverted, look sort of milky.
