My conference project is an eco system in which triangles and squares collide with one another and eat each other. The inspiration for my work comes from those popular online .io games where players try to eat each other to become bigger which allows them to eat larger players. Additionally another inspiration for this was the ecosystem site we learned about in class. Early developments of this project had some bugs that caused for very interesting interactions between the shapes, such as shapes getting stuck on each other upon colliding with one another. This was a bug that people really seemed to enjoy but I was unable to keep it in the final code. For me this project was a major step forward in my understanding of how to use the collision function.
