This article was published a while ago, but I feel like it’s pretty relevant to the class – think about the sentence “all Stunt art at least impinges on politics by exposing the fragility of certain rules and customs that govern civic order”. We may not be scaling buildings, and our work may not be political but I feel like there is a similar driving force behind the art we are making and the art talked about here. A lot of public art and interventions focus on this idea of “exposition” of systems that we are unwittingly a part of. Worth a read.
