Bad Guys: Group Game #2 Hansel and Gretel

The idea for our second game is based on a German fairytale.

The game begins in a maze where Hansel has to figure out a path to save his sister Gretel before the timer runs out (30 seconds). On his way Hansel leaves marks (bread crumbs) behind him in a maze. That’s what he did in the fairytale in order not to get lost. On the 15th second of the game a white circle appears on the screen and slightly moves to to the right upper angle of the screen representing a moon and the beginning of the night, the colors of the screen change and another character (a witch) will appear on the screen and follow hansel’s path erasing (stealing) all of his bread crumbs. If the witch reaches hansel before he saves Gretel he looses, he also looses if the timer runs out.

In our game we have to bad guys: the witch and the time. Our bad guys meet most of the requirements, but we still have to figure out how to make the witch scarier and the game more complicated.

We just started working on the game and will continue working on it as soon as we’ll come back from the break.
